It's Will Smith, how come we can't think of it?

While in search of the garage sale last weekend we had come across a military base that we didn't know existed in Sydney! We had hoped to go in and have a look around since we had our military IDs with us, but they weren't shy to let us know that we wouldn't be going in. They only accepted guests for the guided tours on Thursday at 11 o'clock. This was a good 30 minute skateboard ride away so we had to unfortunately get up a little earlier than usual. Once we arrived at the barracks and got signed in as a guest we met our personal tour guide who was only in charge of taking Lauren and myself around the barracks. They had a special Corps of Guides organization set up of retired gentlemen who volunteered to take guests around. John Smith was very knowledgable about all the ins and outs of the barracks and gave us a lot of information about the history of Australia's military and country. The tour ran a lot longer than both of us had expected but we didn't mind since we were having fun learning all about Australia. John escorted us to the main gate and we said our goodbyes, while thanking him for his tour. We didn't really have any other plans for the day but we were getting hungry so we stopped at a park to have lunch. We were both still pretty tired for some reason but we blame it on the cloudy weather that seems to linger over Sydney. We headed back in the direction of the university and planned on stopping at the markets but realized we didn't have any of our food money with us. This is where the lazy day really began because we ended up spending the rest of our day just surfing the internet! Most of our surfing was on recipes and pinterest (Lauren), but nonetheless we made the most out of our limited searches! Luckily we planned salads today, which usually fills both Lauren and I up. Instead of chicken salad, we decided that we would try something new and substitute in tuna instead. We were both a little worried that it would not taste good, but after making it and trying a few bites, it was rather delicious! After dinner we didn’t get back on our computers because we decided that we had been on them long enough. Instead, we asked our friend Neill if he wanted to join in trivia night again. Unfortunately he said he couldn’t, but he asked us if we wanted to join him in another board game night. We deliberated for a while, but then decided that we would go to trivia just for the fun of it! Since we decided to go to trivia and since we are always rushing to make it there, we headed out the door 40 minutes before it started just to make sure we made it there on time. Just liked planned, we made it there 15 minutes before it started and were able to start filling out our crossword puzzle (you fill out a crossword puzzle on random trivia to get extra points in the end). Surprisingly we knew a few of the crossword puzzle since the theme of it was “movies named after the main characters”. There were three lines with Will Smith, but you would be surprised how difficult it is since he has done so many movies. It must have been difficult to the people beside us too because they had to look it up on their phones, which we were not happy about because we don’t like cheaters! We managed to finish ten of the movies titles throughout the night which shocked us since we're not good with actor/actresses names. Trivia finally started 10 minutes after the designated starting time, but we weren't complaining because it allowed us more time to ponder on the crossword puzzle. The questions were of the same difficulty as all the other times, but Lauren and I must be brushing up on our trivia because we started strong in the first round gaining 14/20 points! We were already proud of our score because that was our total score we got the first time we did trivia alone! The second round was a little tougher, but we managed to get 10/20 points which wasn’t too terrible. Some of the questions we got right were out of common knowledge because it was about American states. With the crossword puzzle included we had a totals score of 33 points. We were more than ecstatic because that’s what we almost usually get when playing with Neill! To celebrate our winnings we decided to go to frozen yogurt afterwards! Surprisingly Lauren wasn’t in the chocolate mood, so we decided to get peach and with some strawberry lemon sorbet topped with a bunch of candy! It was a perfect ending to a perfect night.
